Intentions

*Baby using Gyan mudra, this mudra is great when sitting in stillness to help create a sense of inner calm, promote inner knowledge and grounds you (by stimulating the root chakra).

Spring can be the time of year for rebirth and renewal. In most of my classes I start off by getting my students to set an intention or goal . When we set our mind towards something it gives us a focal point, something to give us strength on the rainy days or something to be excited about. Spring brings with lots of energy, ideas and creativity. It is important to try your best to stay grounded in your intentions and goals and remember we can’t do everything in one day. Instead of running at full speed all season, take a moment to enjoy the blossoms on the trees, the fresh warm air and the birds singing.
