Yogic thought of the week- Judgment

How often do you judge yourself or judge others? Do you recognize this action in yourself? It is human nature to judge and be judged. But what is important is how you react to that. Do you internalize it? Do you let it effect your actions or are you able to see others judgment as their own stuff and still act in your own power or truth.

When you are in a place where you feel like you may be judged (because really in most situations you have no idea if you are actually being judged or not) try to step out of the situation and see it for what it is. Play the witness. Whether it is for the food you are eating (it is your body and your life), how you dress (I mean really I believe clothing is an expression of how we are feeling but does it really matter?), or what your actions are (as long as they are not harmful to others). If you live authentic to your own true self you can really let go of others judgment. It is a strong thing to be able to do and takes a lot of courage but it is within all of us.
